This is a Robbery
This is a Robbery is a fast paced first person shooter inspired by Doom. It was the first team project I had worked on.
I was the main gameplay programmer, focused on developing a robust, smooth first person character controller, punchy combat, and simplistic AI that fulfilled distinct roles. I was also tasked with whiteboxing my own level for the game, bringing it from concept to layout.
My Responsibilities

Taking ownership over the character controller, developing it for extremely fluid and robust physics based movement.

Programming a finite-state machine based AI system that allowed for different enemy archetypes.

Programming the core game loop, including the weapons, health, and ammo mechanics.

Creating a concept for and white-boxing the 3rd level, "Archives".
